This room, called a Narthex, is entered from the Belfry doors. The double doors enter into the Sanctuary.

Note the rope tied beside the doors. This rings the bell which has summoned people to worship in Bennettsville for many years. It was in our 1871 building (and may have been used with the 1834 building).

This room was furnished after the 2006 renovations in memory of Mr. Marion Hinson.
