Ross Stuart, a First UMC youth, was searching for a Boy Scout Eagle Project, and our church had a need: a shelter for our church bus.
Ross began receiving donations for this project, and making the arrangements. The results? A completed bus shelter, which can also serve as a picnic shelter, and a place for our “outdoor cooks” to have shelter while preparing their famous meals!
The photos below show the completed result, which is housed behind the cedar trees on the north side of the Methodist Family Center parking lot. The shelter is visible and accessed from East Market Street.
