God has richly blessed First UMC with an active ministry of music. We have many talented volunteer musicians in our congregation. Under the direction of Rev. Jim Hepler, our director of music ministries/organist, they provide inspiring music week-by-week, and also lead in a number of special events throughout the year. One of the highlights of the year is the Sounds of Christmas Concert, presented on the second Sunday evening of December. It has been performed to large numbers of people for nearly a decade, including a 2005 performance at the Marlboro Civic Center.
