The Methodist Family Center was constructed in 1976, and has been a center for many activities in the church and city of Bennettsville. It is home to the FUMC Basketball League. The second floor houses our Youth Chapel, home of our UMYF group. A basement houses our skating rink, and a kitchen provides many meals for our church family. Our Methodist Family Center (pictured at left) is home to a great variety of programs and ministries of First UMC.
Not only do we enjoy basketball in the Family Center, but we gather there for church meals, Advent and Lenten Fairs for our children, and receptions.
The MFC is home to our United Methodist Youth Fellowship groups, who meet in the 2nd story youth chapel.
