CAMP INFORMATION
At "Wee" Camp young children (2's) will enjoy a morning of hands-on learning fun as they develop and grow through age appropriate activities. "Wee" Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Monday through Thursday. A morning snack and all art supplies are included.
Adventure Camp is for children 3 through 6 years of age. The camp will be divided into two groups by birthdates. Campers need to wear old clothes, sneakers and sunscreens.
Children already enrolled fulltime in the FUM Children's Center are automatically enrolled in camp and placed in the appropriate group. All other community children who desire to attend camps must pre-register. Spaces are limited.

The Children's Center is offering "Wee" Camps for two-year-old children, and Adventure Camps for children three through six years of age. The Adventure Camps will be divided into two groups by birthdates.
CLIFFORD CAMP
June 15-18 (Monday through Thursday)
9 - 11:15 a.m., Fee $45
Come meet Clifford, the big red dog, through the beloved books by Norman Bridwell. Learn about dogs and make doggy crafts!
READY SPAGHETTI CAMP
June 22-25 (Monday through Thursday)
9 - 11:15 a.m., Fee $45
What could be more fun than playing in a tub of spaghetti? Great spaghetti stories, spaghetti art and even spaghetti tasting. A true ooey gooey spaghetti adventure.
COMMOTION IN THE OCEAN
July 6-9 (Monday through Thursday)
9 - 11:15 a.m., Fee $45
Come play in the sand. Dance like a dolphin and crawl like a crab. This camp focuses on animals that live in the ocean. Lots of fun ocean crafts!
"I CAN DO" PRESCHOOL ARTS
July 20-23 (Monday through Thursday)
9 - 11:15 a.m., Fee $50
Have you ever painted with fly swatters, bubble wands or scrub brushes? Children have opportunities to do such as that at "I Can Do" Summer Arts Camp. These campers experience art as they explore various art media using hands-on age appropriate techniques.
PUPPET PALS
August 3-6 (Monday through Thursday)
9 - 11:15 a.m., Fee $45
Great introduction to the art of puppetry. This camp will encourage language and social skills. Each child will make and bring home a sock puppet.
CAMP E.D.G.E.
June 15-19 (Monday through Friday)
9 - 11:30 a.m., No Fee
Vacation Bible School 2009 - An extreme adventure camp. Come experience and discover God everywhere! An action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition that teaches kids their strength and might come from God. Led by volunteers of the First United Methodist Church and FUM Children's Center staff.
FAIRY TALE LANE
June 22-26 (Monday through Friday)
9 a.m. - 12 noon, Fee $55
An exciting adventure awaits ... think jeweled crowns and magic wands! Dress up like a queen or king, climb aboard an imaginary carriage and be whisked away to a castle! This adventure will be topped off with a royal tea party.
KIDZ MUSIC CAMP
July 6-10 (Monday through Friday)
9 a.m. - 12 noon, Fee $60
Got music? Come discover how to keep the beat with the music man! Each morning will feature a session with Rev. Jim Hepler, Director of Music Ministries at First UMC. The children will learn how to find their singing voices and practice basic rhythm techniques. A spotlight of the week will be a hands-on tour of the pipe organ.
