Summer Choir Camp

 

Summer Choir Camp 2008 was our fifth season.

The Children's Choir was directed by Phyllis Hubbard. Phyllis is a member of our Chancel Choir, Chancel Ringers, and Harmony trio. She also is the choral director of Marlboro County's School of Discovery, an arts magnet school.

The Youth Choir was directed by Mike Muzzo, Minister of Worship and Music at West Chester United Methodist Church, West Chester, Pa. Mike and his wife, Dr. Grace Muzzo, directed the first choir camp at First UMC in 2002. Our youth have formed a great relationship with Mike, and enjoy his appearances at Summer Choir Camp!

Summer Choir Camp began in 2002, but was not held in 2005 or 2006 because of church renovations. Our 2007 and 2008 seasons have been highly successful, and we're looking forward to 2009.
