KINNEY FOUNDATION GIFT — Our church family is grateful to The Kinney Foundation for a grant of $5,000, which is being applied to the principal of our Building Fund indebtedness.

SOUPER BOWL — Cash donations are being received today to assist in feeding the hungry of our community. (See note below for food donations, also.)

PROGRAM COMMITTEE — Today, 4 p.m. in The Gathering Room. (Note: Worship Committee meeting, originally scheduled for this time, has been cancelled.)

FUMC BASKETBALL LEAGUE — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. You’re invited to stop by the Methodist Family Center and enjoy watching the children play. Also, the church will be offering a canteen, staffed by members of our church. Contact Elaine Crow if you would like to help. Ricky Sheets is the coordinator for the League.

PPRC — Monday, 6 p.m. in the Conference Room.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIPS — began with a great start last week. Don’t miss a great opportunity to fellowship with your church family! A reservation form is included in today’s bulletin, or you may call the church office by noon tomorrow for reservations.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE — Harmony rehearsal, 5:00 p.m.; Supper line opens, 5:45 p.m.; Program, 6:30 p.m.; Chancel Ringers rehearsal, 6:30 p.m.; Chancel Choir rehearsal, 7:30 p.m.

THE ENERGETICS — Thursday, 10 a.m. in the Conference Room.

VALENTINE BANQUET — Our annual Valentine Banquet will be on Wednesday, February 15 at 5:45 p.m. Great entertainment will be provided by Harmony, Scott Johnson, and an "ad hoc" quartet. The menu will be lasagna, tossed salad, garlic bread and dessert. Be sure to register (using a regular Wednesday Night Fellowship reservation form).

FOOD DONATIONS — Non-perishable food items are needed for the Bread of Life Food Pantry! The Children’s Center preschool class will deliver the items on February 26 (note change of date). Bring a bounty to share with the needy in our community!

WINTER BIBLE STUDY — beginning February 7, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. An eight-week study, Bible Characters, will be taught by Dr. Gafford. Everyone is invited to participate in this study.

ALTAR FLOWERS — are needed for: February 26, March 4, 18, 25, April 1, 15. Please call or email the church office to reserve a date. April through December 2012 open dates are posted on the church website, or may be viewed on the calendar in the office.
