Two Sunday worship services provide a variety of styles.

Our Morning Worship Service (11 a.m.) is a traditional United Methodist worship service. United Methodists will feel "connected" as they join in this service. Hymns, acts of praise and affirmations of faith are integral parts of our worship service. Even though we use the word "traditional," our services have much feeling. Congregational participation is an important part of our worship.

"The Gathering" is a non-traditional service held on Sunday evenings (7 p.m.) in The Gathering Room, in the same building and on the same level as the Sanctuary. This informal service features music in a more contemporary genre, led by a worship team, and a Biblical message by our pastor.

Our Wednesday Lenten Series at noon, followed by a soup and sandwich lunch in the Methodist Family Center, has become a fixture in the community. We also have Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services each year.

All are welcome to join us in the worship of God at First United Methodist Church!
